Length of Stay

Most families want their au pairs to stay for between 6 and 12 months.  Occasionally we have opportunities for shorter placements. You should carefully consider how long you want to stay before applying, as you don't want to let the family down by leaving early.

Where you will live

Our families are from all over Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.

If you have a specific preference, or wish to be near another au pair friend, please specify on the application form.

Remember, however, that you will develop your local language skills faster if you mix with other foreign students (who don't speak your mother tongue).

Studies

You can normally join language courses throughout the year.

You will be expected to pay for your own language course, however, many families help towards the costs.
