Before your trip

Once you have agreed to stay with a family, you should:

• agree the arrival date with the family and inform us;

• agree a convenient time of day to arrive (at the airport/station - we ask the family to meet you there);

• get your International Youth Travel Card (IYTC) - this gives you discounts on travel and hotels;

• book your flight/train tickets and inform your family and us of the time (we can help with any problems)

Personal Effects Insurance: You may wish to arrange your own insurance in case you loose any personal effects.

Health Insurance: You should arrange basic private health insurance yourself.  For more information go here.
