FOR THE UK

These are the visa requirements if your host country is the UK 

 

1. EU Nationals can enter the UK without any formalities.  Please just make sure you have a valid passport, to prove you are an EU national.

 

2. Members of the Commonwealth will need to obtain a visa under the 'working holidaymaker' scheme.  For more information about this scheme, consult the information leaflet INF11.

For the application, the following forms need to be completed:

IM2A - to be completed by all applicants;

IM2C - for working holidaymakers;

IM2E - if the applicant has been refused entry clearance or leave to enter the UK before.

You should send your application to the British diplomatic mission in your country of origin.

 

3. Nationals of the following countries can enter the UK under the Au Pair Scheme (maximum 2 years), if they are between 17 - 27 years old inclusive.  

Andorra,  Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Poland, San Marino, Slovenia, and Switzerland

They only need to produce their invitation letter from the family/agency on entry into the UK.

 

4. Nationals of the following countries can enter the UK on an au pair visa (maximum 2 years), if they are 17 - 27 years old inclusive but  need to obtain a visa prior to travelling to the UK:

Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria Croatia, Macedonia, Romania, the Slovak Republic  and Turkey.

You must complete this form, and send your application to the British diplomatic mission in your country of origin.  

If you have been refused entry clearance or leave to enter the UK before, you must also complete this form
