Au Pairs can care for up to four children per family between the ages of three months and 12 years of age. All Au Pairs are required to complete and educational component according to the program.

Childcare duties are distributed over a five and half day workweek not to exceed 10 hours any given day. Au pairs are entitled to two paid weeks of vacation a year and one full weekend off a month.
